September 2019-Present: Dean of Academic Affairs, Dean of Accreditation (Acting), & and Accreditation Liaison Officer, Medgar Evers College, CUNY, Brooklyn, NY (currently serves as Dean of Academic Affairs in addition to Acting Dean of Accreditation due to the retirement of a former Dean).

 Medgar Evers College (MEC) is senior college that is part of the City of University of New York (CUNY) system, which includes eleven senior colleges, seven community colleges, an honors college, and five graduate and professional schools. CUNY enrolls 250,000 students. MEC has an enrollment of close to 7000 students from over 75 countries. The college has more than 40 associate degree, baccalaureate degree, and certificate programs. The College’s mission is to “develop and maintain high quality, professional, career oriented undergraduate degree programs in the context of liberal education."

 Responsibilities as Acting Dean of Accreditation
Serves as member of the leadership team in the Division of Academic Affairs reporting to the Provost and Senior Vice President
Serves as the Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE)
Oversees MSCHE and program accreditations (Social Work, School of Business and Nursing)
Led the accreditation process for the BSW; the program was removed from conditional accreditation by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and received full accreditation in March 2020
Led the accreditation process for the AAS & BSN in nursing; the program was removed from warning by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and the New State Education Department (NYSED)
Maintains the College’s accreditation portfolio including providing data to demonstrate improvements and monitoring changes in line with internal and external quality standards
Serves as point of contact for organizations, site visitors, Team Leaders, and Council members engaged in the accreditation/reaccreditation process
Provides substantive and process support through the accreditation process
Ensures timely execution of accreditation operations; this includes but is not limited to editing reports and conducting a quality assurance review in a timely manner
Creates and implement materials and templates for program reviews and annual reviews
Provides ongoing guidance for quality process improvement
Coordinates and collect data from various internal and external sources to assess specific criteria outlined by the external accreditation bodies
Analyzes data from various sources to inform external accreditations
Produces reports on an annual and ad hoc basis for submission to external accreditation bodies.
Creates and maintain systems to track the process for data collection and input in support of the accreditation process
Ensures the Collee meets all deadlines set by external accreditation bodies Lead accreditation committees and working groups
Leads the College’s departmental and program-level assessment efforts.

 Responsibilities as Dean of Academic Affairs
Serves as member of the leadership team in the Division of Academic Affairs reporting to the Provost and Senior Vice President
Responsible for the development and oversight of academic momentum initiatives, which includes credit accumulation, degree maps, and gateway course completion.
Oversees faculty professional development initiatives (Faculty Innovation awards, Carnegie Research Awards)
Ensures faculty awareness and training in assessment methods and emerging models
Provides administrative support for faculty and staff recruitment and hiring
Oversight of the promotion and tenure review process
Develops and manage special academic programs and initiatives
Collects, interprets, and presents data for the continuous evaluation and revision of academic programs
Provides leadership in the development of current and new degree programs (Global Studies, Physician Assistant), certificates, and courses;
Collaborates with faculty a staff on various academic initiatives
Represents OAA on the College-Wide Curriculum Committee
Collaborates with Deans of four academic schools and other administrative areas to identify and address issues impacting student retention, progression, engagement and completion.
Works with the Office of Institutional Research to disseminate and use internal and external data to understand and improve student performance, retention, and programmatic offerings reviewed data on student remediation outcomes and developed responsive strategies
Oversight of Coordinated Undergraduate Education (CUE) initiatives
Develops initiatives to assist stopped-out students with re-enrollment
Oversees the development of accelerated and evening weekend programs; and online course development
Works with the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence to expand the college’s Open Educational Resources (OER)-designated course offerings
Works with the Office of the Registrar on registration, scheduling, grade submission activities 
Serves as the College liaison to internal and external constituencies
Works collaboratively with academic departments to manage faculty hiring, reappointment, promotion, and tenure
Liaises with faculty leaders and academic program directors to maintain the integrity of the division's vision and to ensure staff-to-staff cooperation between OAA and diverse offices
Led the implementation of the implementation of the CUNY Proficiency Index for student assignment to appropriate developmental math and English courses
Oversight of special projects as assigned by the Provost
Serves as a member of the Provost’s Cabinet
Serves as a member of the President’s Administrative Cabinet
